So here is the development after I posted this: My guess is that the Nano is probably working, but video is not.Īn additional method of access would be serial console if you happen to have a serial UART cable handy (3.3V). You should probably give a detailed description of the monitor and HDMI adapter, and also see if you can ping the Jetson or ssh in. Desktop PCs will also operate with pretty much any video mode, but Jetsons only work with EDID modes (the data from automatic configuration is EDID), and the EDID mode pool excludes all interlaced modes while desktop PCs allow interlaced (that’s just one example). If this is VGA behind the HDMI adapter, then this is probably at fault as it cuts the wire used for automatic configuration. ![]() HDMI adapters and monitors will behave differently on different systems, and especially on Jetsons. It isn’t unusual for video configuration to fail, but still have the system fully operational.
